A 45-year-old man faces charges after Cape Breton Regional Police found him at a Lorne Street property in North Sydney August 29th.

Officers executed a search Warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at two residences on Lorne Street, seizing a loaded rifle and locating a man in a shed on one of the properties; on identifying him, officers placed him under arrest for outstanding charges connected to a July 20th complaint of a suspicious person on Champlain Avenue in Sydney, where he ran from police.

Aaron Curtis Mickey is remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre, charged with Trespassing by Night, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Obstructing Police, Resisting Police, and several Breaches of previous Court-ordered release conditions including a Failure to attend Court as required on August 14th.
