Cape Breton Regional Police are looking for two suspects in an investigation of a robbery at the Irving Circle K on Commercial Street in North Sydney February 7th.

Officers responded to the store at approximately 3:50 AM, where staff reported two men had entered the store with a knife, demanded money and ran off with the till and cartons of cigarettes. Additional officers patrolled the surrounding areas but were unable to locate the suspects who were both described as 5’ 5” – 6” tall men wearing black bandanas covering their faces. One man was wearing a brown camouflage-pattern jacket and the other was dressed in all black.

The Forensic Identification Unit processed the scene for evidenced and officers collected further information and video surveillance from the surrounding area.

Anyone with information about the identify of the suspects, or who may have seen or heard activity in the areas of King, Commercial, Summer, Union or Pleasant Streets between 3:30 and 4:30 AM on February 7th, is asked to please call police at 902-563-5151 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
