Two men face charges following a Cape Breton Regional Police investigation into a Break and Enter at Governor’s Restaurant.  

Officers were originally called to an alarm at the business on the Esplanade in Sydney in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 25th ; employees also responded and confirmed missing cash, technological equipment and alcohol. Through further investigation, including witness information and video surveillance, police were able to identify two suspects, who were both located and arrested in the downtown Sydney area – one on February 28th and the second on March 18th.

Robert James Burke, 45, and Thomas Gerard Rogers, 47, are both charged with Break and Enter; Burke is also charged with 2 Breaches of Probation and 3 Breaches of previous Court-ordered conditions.
