A 30-year-old man faces charges related to ongoing Cape Breton Regional Police investigation into illegal drug activity in the CBRM.
Street Crime officers executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence on Newton Street February 17th, seizing approximately 200 grams of Cocaine and other drug paraphernalia, as well as brass knuckles and ammunition. Two people were arrested inside, and one was later released without charges.
Mark Anthony David is remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre, charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Careless Use of Ammunition.
