A 17-year-old faces charges for a Break and Enter at the Prince Street NSLC in Sydney, after Cape Breton Regional Police caught him with stolen merchandise.
Officers were called to the store at approximately 6:00 AM December 5th, to reports that a person smashed the front window and got inside; the suspect had already left the scene on police arrival, but while patrolling the nearby area, officers saw a person walking on Townsend Street that matched the description of the suspect. The suspect tried to run, but an officer followed and caught up with him behind a building where he was found with liquor bottles in his possession and arrested.
The male appeared in Sydney Provincial Court today, charged with Break and Enter, Theft, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and a Breach of previous Court-ordered release conditions.
