Joseph Frederick Evong is charged with Intimidation; it comes as the result of an ongoing investigation after Cape Breton Regional Police received information that witnesses to the December incident were being intimidated.

Cape Breton Regional Police arrested and charged Evong in Prince George and transported him back to Sydney yesterday.

As the result of the charge, Evong also had his existing parole revoked.

Charges of Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon and Uttering Threats for the original December assault remain before the Courts.
