Brendon William Donovan is charged with two counts of Trespassing at Night, 4 counts of Possession of Property obtained by Crime, 4 counts of Arson and 18 breaches of two different Court orders.

Police responded to reports of a suspicious person in the area of Columbia and Margaret Streets at approximately 5:00 AM on the 27th; police located and arrested the 18-year-old suspect, who was found to be in possession of stolen property. Shortly after, police began receiving several additional complaints about vehicles entered and damaged by fire, in this area.

Through further investigation on Friday, police were able to connect Donovan to nine separate incidents, including four vehicle fires. He was remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre early Saturday morning, until his appearance in Court.
