Media Releases

Effective 12:00 NOON, the concert site will be closed to traffic; Ferry Street will be blocked from Spar Road all the way through to the Ferry Street bridge, and Stable Drive will be blocked between Ferry Street and Cape Breton Street. Surrounding roads beyond the perimeter of the concert site will be open to traffic, but there is no parking permitted on Cape Breton Street, Inlgis Street, Terminal Road, Dodd Street, Intercolonial Street or Ferry Street. These roads are designated emergency entrance and exit points, and parked vehicles will be towed.

Those driving to the concert are encouraged to make use of public parking available at the former Tartan Downs, from where they can be shuttled to the site; alternatively, there will be a designated drop-off area on Inglis Street, at the intersection of Cape Breton Street and Stable Drive, right outside the perimeter of the concert site.

VIP ticket holders are asked to use Spar Road and follow signage to access their on-site parking area. Accessible parking is also available on-site for mobility disabled persons with a permit, through the Inglis Street drop-off area.

Cape Breton Regional Police will be present at the concert site to assist with traffic and crowd control, and thank you for your cooperation to help ensure a safe concert experience in our community.
