Sydney man charged for cocaine trafficking

August 13, 2020

A 63-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Sydney Provincial Court today after Cape Breton Regional Police seized $21,000 worth of cocaine from a Bay Street residence.

Street Crime officers executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Wednesday night, locating more than 200 grams of Cocaine (photo attached). Officers also seized cash and arrested a male resident inside. 

Joseph Wayne Bishop is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
