Police investigate suspicious fire

August 5, 2013

At approximately 10:00pm last night, members from the Cape Breton Regional Police Service East Division and Glace Bay Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 87 Highland Street in Glace Bay.

This home was fully engulfed in flames when emergency personal arrived on site.

Preliminary investigation by members of the fire service determined this fire was suspicious in nature. The CBRPS Arson Investigator and Forensic Identification Unit will continue to investigate, along with members from the Fire Marshal’s Office.
