Police responded to the area at approximately 3:00 AM, where residents of the home reported hearing a loud noise at the front door; upon looking at the door, they observed significant damage and contacted police. There were 4 persons inside the home at the time, but no one was injured.

Occupants of the residence did not see or hear anyone in the area prior to or after the incident. Members of the Forensic Identification and K-9 Units were called to the scene for assistance, but police did not locate any suspects in the area. Based on information obtained at the scene, it appears the damage is the result of a firearm. Police believe this to be an isolated incident and continue to investigate under leadership of the Major Crime Unit.
