Scam 2 - Medical Scam

If you receive a letter from someone claiming to be diagnosed with a serious illness with only a few hours left to live and asking you to disperse his or her funds to a charity, be cautious. It is likely a scam.

This person offer 50% of the funds directly to you and ask you to donate the other 50% to a charity of your choice. To do so, you will be asked to contact this person's lawyer at a provided e-mail address to initiate the process.

If you receive a similar letter, please be cautious. Do not respond to the request, and don't hesitate to contact police who may have further information.
