On arrival, the clerk who was working at the time of the offence indicated to police that a lone male person entered the store and demanded money. The suspect took a sum of money and fled the store on foot.

Additional police resources, including the Major Crime, Ident and K-9 Units, were called to the scene to assist, and police later arrested a male individual. This man was later released without charges.

Police continue to investigate this incident; anyone with information is asked to contact police at 563-5151 or anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
