Police no longer accepting cash for services

February 11, 2016

Effective April 1, the Cape Breton Regional Police Service is advising that they will no longer accept cash for payment of any services, such as Criminal Record Checks, fingerprints, Freedom of Information Applications or parking tickets.

Payment for these services must be made by either debit card or by cheque, which should be made payable to the Cape Breton Regional Police Service. For those wishing to pay by cash, arrangements to do so may be made through the Customer Service Center located at the Civic Center.
