Police looking for suspect in break and enter

On Monday, May 9, at approximately 1:40AM, the Cape Breton Regional Police responded to a report of an alarm at Station Diary convenience store located on Legatto Street in Sydney Mines.
Upon arrival, police noted a broken window was used to gain entry to the convenience store. The suspect had previously fled from the scene with an undisclosed amount of goods. The store was vacant at the time of the break and enter.
Members of the CBRP North Division Patrol Unit, assisted by the Community Safety Enforcement Unit continue to investigate.
