Police launch “Gnome for the Holidays” campaign with festive safety tips

Nova Scotia RCMP, Halifax Regional Police and Cape Breton Regional Police launched a new holiday campaign today aimed at arming Nova Scotians with tips to stay safe during the winter holiday season.
From December 14 to January 1, police will use social media to release photos of Jingle the gnome acting out holiday safety tips ranging from vehicle protection to crime prevention. By following Jingle’s simple safety precautions, people young and old can protect their loved ones and communities from preventable tragedies during the holidays.
