Police investigating suspicious fire

June 20, 2016

Cape Breton Regional Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a wharf in Main-a-Dieu.

Police were originally called to the fire around 9:10 PM on June 19. The Bateston Volunteer Fire Department was also on the scene. The fire was deemed suspicious.

The Fire Marshal’s Office, along with CBRPS Forensic Identification Unit and Arson Investigator continue to investigate.
