Police investigating suspicious fire

March 22, 2016

Cape Breton Regional Police are investigating a suspicious fire at the Lakeview Treasure Campground on Highway 22 in Catalone. The trailer was vacant at the time, and no injuries were reported.

Police were originally called to the fire around 11:40 PM on March 21, where the Albert Bridge Fire Department was already on the scene, and had deemed the fire suspicious.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Forensic Identification Unit, who both continue to work at the scene.

Anyone with information on this fire is asked to contact police at 902-563-5151 or anonymously through CrimeStoppers.

1)      "The Women of Peace and Hope for Hospice" instead of "The Ladies....."

n  Also, the amount they have donated thus far is over $40,000.00.

2)      Add Aurelle Landry and Kathy Forsey to the list of Board Member names

3)      In the Second Wind promo, the logo for last year's concert "Travel Round the World" was used, so that globe and those words have to be deleted.  We can simply use the Treble Clef and name Second Wind Community Band.

4)      The golf text is uneven/wonky

5)      In the Society Launches New Website section, in the second last sentence there should be a comma after the word devices

“website functions on all devices, allowing the community….”

On the insert:

6)      For the Ribfest section: I believe the address is 109 Ferry Street for Open Hearth, instead of 110. (Perhaps it is both, but CBRM, Google maps, etc. all list it as 109 so I’m thinking we should be consistent).
