Police investigating complaint of potential Halloween candy tampering

November 8, 2016

Cape Breton Regional Police are investigating after a report of a needle found inside an Oh Henry chocolate bar on November 6.

The family advises the candy was received during trick-or-treating on October 31, and that the child had been trick-or-treating in the Sydney area, including Cottage Road, George Street, Bernard Lind Drive and several other streets near that area.

Police continue to investigate this incident, and remind parents and children to check all Halloween candy prior to consuming them and to report any tampering to police.
