Police investigate motor vehicle and cyclist collision

September 23, 2016

At approximately 4:20 PM, Cape Breton Regional Police responded to a MVA, where a vehicle and a cyclist collided near the intersection of Kings Road and Lynch Drive in Sydney River.

The male cyclist was transported by EHS to hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The male motorist of the vehicle did not suffer serious injuries.

Officers from CBRPS Central Division, as well as the Traffic Safety and Forensic Identification Units are on scene; police continue to investigate.
