Police investigate gun threat at Cape Breton University

Cape Breton Regional Police were on the scene at Cape Breton University after a report of an alleged gun threat.

Police first responded to Cape Breton University at 10:45am on October 29, after campus security reported a social media post was found indicating a gun threat. Police conducted a complete search of the university and found no evidence of any weapon, clearing it for safety. Police will remain present on campus for the day, and will continue to investigate the source of the alleged threat.
