Police continue to investigate home invasion in Louisbourg

August 23, 2016

Cape Breton Regional Police are requesting the public’s assistance if they have any information regarding the home invasion that occurred in Louisbourg on July 22.

CBRP originally responded to the report of a home invasion at approximately 4:55 AM on July 22, where a man was awoken by two men who had kicked in the door to the residence and began beating the male. The suspects then fled the scene.

The victim still remains in hospital.

Members of the CBRPS Major Crime Unit continue to investigate.
