Police charge female for drug possession, trafficking

A 34-year-old North Sydney woman faces drug-related charges after members of the Cape Breton Regional Police Street Crime Unit and RCMP Drug Section executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence on King Street in North Sydney.

Amanda Marie Matthews was arrested in the residence and later released on a Promise to Appear in Sydney Provincial Court on November 23rd, when she’ll face charges of Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of Marihuana and Possession of Hydromorphone.
