Police charge 4 after two drug searches

September 20, 2018

Four people face charges after two separate searches under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at homes in Dominion Monday night, September 17th.

Two residents from Villa Nova Road will appear in Sydney Provincial Court today. Members of the Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant there, seizing cocaine, marihuana and cash.  A 49-year-old male and 40-year-old female were arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime; the male was also charged with Breaches of previous Court orders.

Street Crime officers also executed a search on Wilson’s Lane, where a 42-year-old male and 37-year-old female were arrested. Officer seized cocaine, crack cocaine, marihuana, prescription pills and cash. Both were released on a Promise to Appear in Sydney Provincial Court on November 5th, when they’ll face charges for Possession of Cocaine, Dextroamphetamine, Marihuana and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
