A total of 123 officers provide around-the-clock patrols throughout the CBRM, keeping citizens in our communities safe. Often the first responders dispatched to a complaint, patrol officers respond to incidents including: assaults, thefts, vandalism, threats, frauds, motor vehicle accidents, impaired operation of a motor vehicle, weapons complaints and domestic issues.

Patrol officers are responsible to enforce criminal code offences, provincial statutes and municipal by-laws resulting from their duties,  and are ofetn subpoenaed to court to testify as part of investigations.
