Traffic Advisory - Because You Care Cup

The CBRP are advising motorists that Charlotte Street in Sydney will be blocked from Dorchester Street to Prince Street in Sydney from Saturday, September 17 at 4:00 AM, until Sunday September, 18 at 6:00 PM for the Because You Care Cup.

Police looking for owners of recovered property

The Cape Breton Regional Police have seized a number of stolen items, as a result of a search warrant linked to several break and enters throughout the CBRM. Police are looking to identify the owners of the seized items. Through the investigation, Cape Breton Regional Police believe these items were stolen primarily in the Sydney area.

Do Not Enter signs at Butts Street and Fraser Avenue intersection

The CBRP are advising motorists that two new Do Not Enter signs have been put into place near the intersecting roads of Butts Street and Fraser Avenue in Sydney Mines.

These Do Not Enter signs deny traffic access toward Butts Street off of Fraser Avenue to allow police vehicles an unobstructed exit from the division for emergency response.
