He is facing the following charges: Forcible Confinement Possession of a weapon Forcible entry Mr. Nichol has been remanded to the CBCC and will appear in Sydney Provincial Court later today (Tuesday).

The original incident occurred on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 at approximately 5 p.m. when the Cape Breton Regional Police responded to a weapon complaint that took place on the corner of Crescent St. and Argyle St. in Sydney. The complainant stated that an unknown male entered his car while he was stopped in traffic and told him to drive him away. The suspect had blood on both arms, was holding a knife and stated that he had just stabbed someone. The suspect was driven a short distance and exited the vehicle on Bentinck St. between Bing Ave and Townsend St. less than a block away.
