Upon arrival, these members located a 33-year-old male from Sydney Mines who had sustained serious facial injuries. This injured male was transported to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and later airlifted to a hospital in Halifax where he will receive further treatment. Members from our General Investigation, Forensic Identification and K-9 sections have been called in to assist patrol officers with this investigation.
