Police locate marihuana grow, charge one male

A 28-year-old Southside Boularderie man will appear in Sydney Provincial Court today after members of the Cape Breton Regional Police Street Crime Unit and RCMP Drug Section conducted a search under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence on Hillside Boularderie Road yesterday evening.
Police seized several marihuana plants and arrested the male resident. Brent Michal MacSween is charged with: Cultivation of Marihuana, as well as Careless Storage of a Firearm (x4), Careless Storage of Ammunition, Possessing a Firearm without a License (x4), Possession of a Firearm while not being the Holder of a Possession License (x3) and 2 Breaches of Probation.
