At approximately 3:00 AM, a 28-year-old male was dropped off at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries to his face; hospital staff notified police that the man had been dropped off by friends who reported he was assaulted.

To date, investigation has led police to determine that the man was injured somewhere in the 400- or 500-block of Charlotte Street, near Daniel’s Lounge and the Old Triangle Pub, between the hours of 11:30 PM (October 5th) and 2:30 AM (October 6th). Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has information about the incident, or who was in the area at that time and can provide information that might help, to please contact 563-5151 or anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
