Upon arrival police observed a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am off the roadway and in the woods.  The male driver (37) from the Albert Bridge area lost control of his vehicle and left the highway, rolling several times before landing in the woods. The driver was the only one person in the vehicle and was removed by EHS personal from the vehicle with assistance with Fire Services on scene and transported to Cape Breton Regional Hospital with undetermined injuries.

Members from the Traffic Safety Unit/ Identification unit were called to assist Patrol Members with this investigation.

He was later released from hospital with minor injuries and was charged with Impaired Driving and Failure to Provide a Blood Sample, released on a Promise to Appear in Sydney Provincial Court at a later date.
