Investigation led police to a residence in River Ryan where ICE investigators and members of the Community Safety Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant on January 29th, seizing computers and hardware.
Following further investigation, police charged MacKinnon, who was released on a Promise to Appear in Sydney Provincial Court on June 6, 2015.
The CBRPS ICE Unit investigations internet-based crimes against children, including offences such as accessing, possessing, making and distributing child pornography, as well as the luring of children over the internet for a sexual purpose. ICE investigators also specialize in conducting forensic examination and analysis of computers, electronic storage devices, cell phones and other mobile electronic devices.
