How Credit Works for You and Against You

A partnership among several community organizations, the "How Credit Works For You and Against You" program was designed to raise awareness and educate students about the importance of managing and building finances, and the crucial role that credit plays in their financial future.

How Credit Works for You and Against You

As part of the program, the CBRPS provides classroom presentations to high school students across the CBRM on identity theft and impaired driving, helping students understand the impacts these issues can have on all areas of their lives, including credit rating. Students then have the opportunity to enter an essay contest, writing about what they've learned through the presentations, for a chance to win financial awards.
