Police charge Glace Bay man with two counts of theft

A 28-year-old Glace Bay man will appear in Sydney Provincial Court on February 17, 2016, after being charged with two counts of Theft under $5,000.
At approximately 3:20pm on November 30th, 2015, Cape Breton Regional Police responded to a report that a sum of money had been stolen from a Coca-Cola truck parked on Union Street in Glace Bay.
Additionally, at approximately 9:10am on December 4th, 2015, Cape Breton Regional Police responded to a report that a sum of money had been stolen from the Legion on Union Street in Glace Bay.
Through further investigation, police were able to connect the suspect to both of these crimes. The suspect was arrested and charged with two counts of Theft under $5,000, and was released on a Promise to Appear with Undertaking.
