Street closures will be in effect for the Half-Marathon route; the Esplanade will be closed to traffic from Victoria Park to Wentworth Park between 9:30 and 10:00 AM. There will also be barricades in place on Bentinck Street, at Byng Avenue and Crescent Street, where runners will cross on their way in and out of Wentworth Park.

Runners on all routes will also travel through the Open Hearth Park trail system; barricades will be in place on Ferry Street, at Intercolonial Street and Ferry Drive, restricting vehicle access into the Park throughout the duration of the event.

All other roadways along the routes will remain open to traffic, but motorists are advised to expect delays.

Cape Breton Regional Police will be patrolling the route, with extra traffic detail in place. Officers, volunteer course marshals and CBRM crossing guards will also be present at key points along the route.
