Man faces drug trafficking charges

On Wednesday July 29th, members of the Cape Breton Regional Police Service Street Crime Unit & RCMP Drug Section executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act at a residence on Chappelle Court in Sydney.

Police seized a quantity of Hydromorphone and Oxycodone, and arrested a 29-year-old male.

He was released on a Promise to Appear in Sydney Provincial Court on September 28th, when he'll face charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Hydromorphone & Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Oxycodone.
