Two charged for drug trafficking

January 29, 2015

Members of the Cape Breton Regional Police Street Crime Unit and RCMP Drug Section executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence on Brooklyn Avenue in Sydney Mines, seizing Cocaine and Hydromorphone, as well as cash, and arresting two people inside. 

A 46-year-old male will appear in Sydney Provincial Court tomorrow, to face charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Hydromorphone and Possession of Cocaine. A 45-year-old female was released on a Promise to Appear in Sydney Provincial Court on April 28, 2015, when she'll face a charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Hydromorphone.
