Drug, Excise and Revenue charges for Sydney Mines man

January 30, 2015

The Cape Breton Regional Police Service Street Crime executed a search warrant at a residence on Crescent Street, Sydney Mines.

As a result of the search, police arrested a 44 year old male and seized Marihuana, illegal cigarettes and cash.

The man was released on a Promise to Appear in Sydney Provincial Court on April 28, 2015, when he'll face a charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Marihuana. Additional charges under the Excise Act and Revenue Act are also pending.
