Upon checking the area, police located the device and confirmed it was the Toxler Density Gauge reported stolen earlier this week. The area was secured and checked by Cape Breton Regional Fire Services Haz-Mat Team; the device was found not to be tampered with. The owner of the density gauge was contacted and arrived at the location to take control of the device.
