A 54-year-old male complainant stated that a 45-year-old male, known to him, had been following him in a vehicle and then approached him in his driveway, pointing a firearm at him and uttering a death threat.
Members of the Major Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team were called to assist with the investigation; as a result, the male suspect turned himself into police this afternoon, and was arrested without incident. He was remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre and will appear in Sydney Provincial Court on July 2nd, to face charges of Possession of a Weapon, Pointing a Firearm and Uttering a Death Threat.
