Charles Wilbert Walker is charged with: Assault, Aggravated Assault (x2), Assault with a Weapon (x2), Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose (x2), Forcible Entry (x2) and a Breach.

Police were called to a Plummer Avenue residence Monday night, March 23rd, at approximately 8:45 PM, to reports of two men with injuries requiring medical attention. It appeared there was a dispute or assault, however the injured parties were not cooperating to provide police with complete information about what happened. Both men were taken to Cape Breton Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Through further investigation, police were led to Walker as a possible suspect, who they located and arrested in a Heelan street residence in the early morning hours of March 25th. He was later remanded to the Cape Breton Regional Correctional Centre until his Court appearance.

The suspect and victims are known to each other.
