Police charge 2nd male in Jessome homicide

As Cape Breton Regional Police continue to investigate the murder of Laura Jessome, a second male will appear in Sydney Provincial Court on Monday, December 17, 2012, to face charges in connection to her death.

Today, police charged Brian Augustine Deruelle with Accessory After the Fact to Murder; police arrested the 37-year-old Glace Bay man at his residence on December 16th. He was remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre late this afternoon, until his scheduled Court appearance.

Earlier this weekend, police also charged Robert Edwin Matheson with Accessory After the Fact to Murder; he, too, will appear in Sydney Provincial Court on Monday.
